Terms and Conditions for Queen Rentals

Insurance Policy

The rates include FULL COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE (F.C.I) WITHOUT ANY EXCESS AMOUNT.

F.C.I INCLUDES:

• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) without any excess. Your liability for vehicle damage is zero (0).
• Theft Protection (T.P): Excludes keys, GPS, and personal belongings (e.g., cameras, CDs).
• Fire and Third-Party Liability: All authorized drivers of Queen Rentals vehicles are covered against fire and liability for death, injury, or damage to property.
• Tires, Windows, Windscreens, and Undercarriage Damage: Excludes damage to the interior of the car and irreparable damage to tires and undercarriage from reckless driving or driving on non-tarmac roads.
• Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): All authorized passengers in Queen Rentals vehicles are covered. Passengers are insured for loss of life and for total/partial temporary/permanent disablement up to €1,300,000.

F.C.I EXCLUDES:

Renters are liable for full repairs or replacement of damages if the damage results from violations of Greek Road Traffic Code or if the car has been driven:

1. Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
2. By an unauthorized person
3. On non-surfaced (tarmac) roads
4. Damage to the clutch disk

Important Note: In case of any damage, do not move the car and call us immediately; otherwise, full insurance coverage may be void.

Kilometer Limitation

There is no limit on kilometers within Zakynthos.

Taxes

Prices include VAT at 24%.

Traffic Violation Fines and Administrative Sanctions

Any tickets or administrative sanctions resulting from violations of Greek Traffic Law during the rental period are solely the renter's responsibility. If any such sanctions are not disclosed at the end of the rental period, the violation will be charged to the renter.

Fuel Policy

Fuel is the responsibility of the customer. The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as when the rental period began. No refunds will be given for incorrectly overfilling the fuel tank.

Rental Length

The minimum rental period is 2 days. Charges for delays in returning the vehicle are as follows: First hour – no charge; next 2 hours - €10 per hour; over 3 hours – an extra day’s rate will apply.

Driver's License

Drivers must have a valid full driving license held for at least one year. An International Driving License is required for non-European Union citizens or those without a European driver’s permit. Licenses not written in English or Greek must be accompanied by an International Driving License.

GPS Navigation

Available upon request for a small extra fee.

Age Requirement

The renter and any associated drivers must be a minimum of 21 years old. For certain vehicle groups (D & E), the minimum age is 23, and for groups (F & G), it is 25. Drivers must be younger than 75 years old to be fully covered by insurance.

Baby-Child Seats

Available upon request at no extra charge.

Ferrying of the Car

Our vehicles are not permitted to be transported by ferry outside Zakynthos Island.

Delivery and Collection

FREE OF CHARGE at all destinations. After-hours delivery and collection (23:00 – 05:00) are subject to a €20 charge.

Booked Car Availability

If for any reason (e.g., car damage, lack of availability, natural disasters) the car you booked is not available, we will replace it with a vehicle of the same or higher category at no extra charge.

Cancellation Policy

You have the option to cancel at any time. Just let us know at least 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up time. The deposit is non-refundable.
